What started as a love letter to rom-coms and pop culture slowly became something bigger: a wearable world built around adventure, nostalgia, freedom, and romanticizing everyday life.

I’m McKenzie, the founder and creative behind Meet Cute Motel.
For years, I helped build brands for other people while quietly dreaming up this one: a fictional roadside world inspired by old movies, vintage Americana, coastal escapes, road trips, music, and the feeling of being young and searching for something.
Meet Cute Motel started with graphic tees and film references, but over time it became more personal than that.
Now, it’s about creating a lifestyle that feels cinematic, one where getting dressed feels like stepping into a story.
